During 5 weeks we teach:
- how to prepare the clay
- how to center the clay on the wheel
- how to make bowls
- how to make cylinders, cups and vases
- how to the trim your pots
The last session is the introduction to glazing.
Before signing for this course we recommend you take ‘Pottery wheel – Introduction’ session.

Time: 2.30pm
This session is perfect for anyone who wants to ‘have a go’ on the pottery wheel.
Session includes:
- how to prepare clay for throwing
- centring clay
- opening
- pinching and finishing
During this session each participant will have the chance to make several attempts at making pots.
The amount of clay to use is up to 3kg
Additional costs if you would like to keep any of your pots:
Bisque firing: £6.00 (Inc.VAT) per pot
Clear glaze: £10.00 (Inc.VAT)
Painting : £22.00 (Inc.VAT) per pot including bisque firing and glazing (requires booking a session)
